Paddlers spot platypus in Georges River at Kentlyn

IT is the confirmation of a long-held hope — there is a platypus population that calls the upper Georges River home.

Members of the Macarthur branch of the NSW National Parks Association and platypus expert Tom Grant carried out a survey of the waterway in bushland west of Campbelltown last weekend.
